How To : iPhone Ringtones




  1. Open Itunes, Click on your Library.



  2. Right click on the music file you what your Ringtone to be .



  3. Select Get Info.



  4. Select Option.



  5. Increase the volume to 100% and select the 30 seconds you would like for the ringtone. (the ringtone can only be up to 30 seconds long)



  6. Click ok



  7. Right click on the song and click on "convert Selection to AAC"



  8. Right click on the 30 second version and click on "Show in Windows Explorer" (make sure your settings are not hiding the full file name)



  9. The music file will be m4a extention, Change the m4a extention to m4r. (i.e. songname.m4r)



  10. Delete 30 second version from itunes library(do not close windows explorer folder).



  11. Windows explorer should still be open. Double click on the .m4r file and it should add the file to your Ringtone folder.



  12. Now sync and enjoy!
